Pro Bono Clearing House

Pro Bono Clearing House (Pro Bono Space) is a platform that connects public organizations and legal businesses for useful collaboration.

The Pro Bono Space resource was created by the team of the Ukrainian Legal Aid Foundation in 2013 to provide free legal aid to those who could not get state-guaranteed protection.
In 2015, after the establishment of state-guaranteed legal protection centers, Pro Bono Space changed the vector of assistance from individual clients to the civil society sector to help those who help others.
By working with legal companies, law firms and associations, Pro Bono Space helps legal businesses to demonstrate their social responsibility, and for the civil society to receive professional legal support for more effective work for the benefit of society.

Work formats

Pro Bono Education is a mutual strengthening of the civil society sector and legal business during a joint educational event (lecture, master class or workshop, training). Training can take place both for an NGO (according to their request) and for lawyers (on current topics of the social sphere).

Strengthening the legal capacity of NGOs is a program of in-depth study and improvement of the legal basis of the organization’s activities, thanks to the support of specialists from the legal company.

The Pro Bono Clearing House is a mutually beneficial interaction between NGOs and a legal business in one specific request that influences and develops both parties.

The Pro Bono Space brings together socially responsible lawyers to meet, communicate and share experiences. We offer a useful and interesting time, learning and having fun in a circle of like-minded people.
